सोहळा अस्तित्वाचा!
नमस्कार,
“सोहळा अस्तित्वाचा”, हे ब्रीदवाक्य आहे, अ‍टलांटिक सिटी, न्यू जर्सी मधे होणाऱ्या अधिवेशनाचे! मराठी विश्व, न्यू जर्सी वर ही जबाबदारी सुपूर्त केल्याबद्दल, मराठी विश्व बृहन्महाराष्ट्र मंडळाचे अत्यंत ऋणी आहे. आम्ही सर्व हे अधिवेशन उत्कृष्टपणे पार पाडण्यासाठी उत्सुक आहोत. गेल्या वर्षभराच्या उलाढाली, अडचणी आणि सध्याची परिस्थिती लक्षात घेता अधिवेशनाचे ब्रीदवाक्य अगदी साजेसे आहे. आपण सगळ्यांनी या संकटामधून एकत्र बाहेर पडण्याचा निर्धार करून, आपली सांस्कृतिक वाटचाल आणि मराठी अस्मिता पुन्हा जोमाने जोपासायची आहे. हे अधिवेशन आपल्या अस्तित्वाचा एक दिमाखदार सोहळा असणार आहे.
आम्ही, अधिवेशनाच्या कार्यक्रम समितीचे सदस्य, तुम्हा सर्वांना कार्यक्रमांसाठी तुमचे प्रस्ताव पाठवण्याची नम्र विनंती करतो. मराठी माणूस जगाच्या पाठीवर कुठेही असला तरी, नाटक, साहित्य, संगीत आणि इतर सर्व कला त्याच्या अंगी भिनलेल्या असतात. तुम्ही उत्तर अमेरिकेत, भारतात किंवा जगात कुठेही असलात तरी, आम्हाला खात्री आहे की तुम्ही आमच्या या विनंतीला भरभरून प्रतिसाद द्याल. प्रस्तावाचा विचार करतांना, कृपया ब्रीदवाक्य ध्यानात ठेवा.

‘सोहळा अस्तित्वाचा!’, ‘Celebration of life’
This is the slogan for the BMM convention that will be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey from Aug 11th-14th 2022. Marathi Vishwa, New Jersey is honored and humbled to be entrusted with the responsibility of hosting this convention. With the tumult and disruption of the last year as the backdrop, the slogan we have chosen is apropos to the commitment we should all make to rise up, to resume our lives, strengthen our connections and reinvigorate our cultural expression in celebration of our Marathi identity. We envision this convention to be a grand celebration of our resilience and of our very existence.
The Programming Committee for the convention is excited and honored to reach out to solicit your ideas and proposals for events to be staged at the convention. We look forward to entertaining proposals from within North America, Maharashtra, India and other places far and wide. We are confident that we will receive proposals that truly embody our slogan.
