1. When and where is the BMM 2022 Convention?

Main BMM Convention will be held between August 12 and 14, 2022 at the Atlantic City Convention Center (ACCC) in Atlantic city. Day 0 conferences (Business, CME, Holistic Wellness Forum Uttar Rang) will be held on August 11, 2022. There will also be a Banquet dinner on the evening of August 11.  Please refer to the BMM2022 web site for more details:  www.bmm2022.org

2. Which Airports are convenient to get to the convention center? What options are available for transportation from Airport to the Convention Center?

Preferred airports are Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Additionally smaller airports like Trenton (TTN) and Atlantic City (ACY) provide connectivity to select cities.

We plan to provide transportation service for additional cost from Newark International Airport (EWR) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on August 10, 11 and 14 (for returning to the airport). For more information, visit https://bmm2022.org/venue-atlantic-city-nj/

Main Event and Add-ons

3. What events can I register using the main BMM 2022 registration form?

You can register for the BMM Main Convention, Banquet Dinner, Business Conference, CME Conference, Uttar Rang and Holistic Wellness Forum. Select the appropriate child ticket that includes childcare services at a nominal extra charge.

4. What is included in the Day 0 add-on?

Your attendance at the conference you select along with breakfast and lunch

5. I am a participant in the programming event at the convention or a volunteer, do I need to register? Are daily passes available for programming participants?

BMM Registration is mandatory for all volunteers and North American programming participants. Daily passes are not available for programming participants or volunteers.

6. Is Childcare available during the convention and at what cost?

Yes, we will offer Childcare services for children ages 3-13 (age as of July 31, 2022). All children must be registered for the BMM convention. Appropriate child ticket that includes childcare must be purchased to avail services. On the spot childcare service will not be available. 

You must complete a form required by our childcare vendor which will be shared with you separately.

Please Note:  Youth and children must be pre-registered for workshops planned for relevant age groups.

7. Will there be a separate section for senior citizens and people requiring special attention / wheelchairs?

There will not be a separate section for senior citizens except for those requiring wheelchair. Motorized wheelchairs are not allowed at the convention center. For more information about wheelchair policy, click here.

8. Will there be a separate section for Donors?

Yes, donors will have a separate designated seating section based on the donation category.

9. Is there assigned seating for Banquet dinner?

There will not be any assigned seats for the banquet dinner. You will be free to choose your own table and sit with anyone you like. Please note that some tables may be reserved for VIP and Special guests.

10. What is included in the BMM convention ticket?

  • BMM Main Convention prices include convention registration and meals, except Day 0 conferences that can be purchased as add-ons.
  • Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

11. Are daily passes available for the convention?

No. We are not planning to offer daily passes or tickets to the convention.

12. Are there any group discounts?

No, we do not offer any group discounts for the convention.

13. What is the cancellation policy for general registrants?

Regular Convention tickets are refundable as below

  • 80% of ticket amount will be refunded if the refund is requested within 60 days of purchase date or before June 11, 2022, whichever is earlier
  • 60% of ticket amount will be refunded if the refund is requested after 60 days of purchase date but before June 11, 2022
  • No refund will be provided for any cancellation after June 11, 2022

Registration fees for Business Conference, Business Summit and Education Summit are non-refundable. Registration may be transferred if notified in advance for the event and during the event timeframe only.

If the convention is cancelled due to COVID-related state regulations around indoor gatherings, all registration amounts will be refunded (after factoring any non-refundable expenses incurred by BMM).

14. How many members can be registered in a single registration?

Up to 6 Adults can be registered in a single registration. Additionally, you can register up to 6 children (ages 3 – 13). You may also send an email to the registration committee at registration@bmm2022.org for assistance.

15. What are the donation packages and benefits? Can I still donate for the convention?

Yes, we continue to accept donations and highly encourage you to do so. Please refer to bmm2022.org/donation/ for additional details.

16. What is the cancellation policy for donors?

Donations are not refundable or transferrable. However, if the convention is cancelled due to COVID-related state regulations around indoor gatherings, all donation amounts will be refunded (after factoring any non-refundable expenses incurred by BMM).  Email refunds@bmm2022.org for any additional information or exceptional requests.

17. What are my payment options for registration?

Payments can be made by credit/debit cards or bank ACH debit. Cash/check payments and electronic transfers are not accepted. Relevant processing charges will be added to your registration amount.

You will have an option to edit the information before you submit the registration. Once the registration is done you will have a limited option to modify your contact information and certain information about attendees.

18. What will happen once the registration is complete?

The primary registrant will receive confirmation email at the email address provided, consisting of registration details (including a unique confirmation code). If you do not receive confirmation email after registration, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder before contacting us. The confirmation email will also include a link to book your hotel. For any assistance related to registration, please contact registration@bmm2022.org.

You will receive a Group ID that can be shared with your friends to be seated together in the main arena.

19. When will I get a Seat number? What is the criterion for allocating seat numbers? What if I want to sit with my friends?

Your seat number will be printed on your badge. Seat numbers will be assigned on a “first come first served” basis depending on the date and time of your registration and payment.

The seat numbers are applicable only for the seating in the main arena. Please avail the Group ID for seating together. Ensure your friends register at the earliest after you ideally within a week. Delays could affect your seating to be fair to other attendees. Deadline to request group seating is June 30th, 2022.

20. How can I register for more people for the convention or register for additional events at a later date?

No- you cannot register additional attendees or events on your own at a later date. However, you can contact us at registration@bmm2022.org and we will be able to accommodate your request.

21. What is the guideline on Covid-19 vaccinations?

BMM2022 Attendees and Artists are required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

Wheel Chair

22. What are the guidelines around wheelchairs?

  1. Wheelchair rental is provided by Mobility on Wheels https://cash.mobilityonwheels.com/ . You must book/rent the wheelchairs online by providing the required details, accepting waivers, etc.
  2. Wheelchairs are delivered only to your hotel and not at the convention center. Sheraton is not included in their list of hotels. These restrictions are mainly due to the union, labor, and liability laws of the city. These wheelchairs don’t fold for theft prevention.
  3. If convenience is the only criteria; The venue “Atlantic City Convention Center” is a vertical facility, unlike other conventions you might have been to, that are horizontally spread.
  4. This venue has 4 levels. Escalators and elevators are available at convenient locations across the facility for easier movement. Please feel free to browse the floor plans https://photos.meetinac.com/photos/floor-plans Level 2 will feature a main auditorium, expo area, dining hall, and small theater. Levels 3 and 4 will have breakout rooms with drama, music theaters, and other parallel track programs.
  5. Shuttle drop-off and pickup are conveniently located on Level 1 outside the Atrium.
  6. It is highly recommended by the venue to rent a “non-motorized” wheelchair.

23. Is there a possibility to get a wheelchair escort?

No, the Convention center or convention organizing team DO NOT provide wheelchair escort, you will have to arrange a resource or individual.

What are the charges?

The per person per way charge is $55. You can choose either One-Way or Roundtrip when selecting the ticket. Tickets are available online https://bmm2022.org/airport-transportation/

What airports are covered as part of this service?

Transportation will be provided from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) only.

What dates will the service be provided on?

On Wednesday August 10 and Thursday Aug 11, we will have bus service from the airport (Philadelphia and Newark) to Atlantic City.

On Sunday August 14 and Monday August 15, we will have bus service from the convention center/hotel to the airports (Philadelphia and Newark).

How long is the bus ride?

The ride to and from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 2 hours and 10 minutes. 

The ride to and from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Actual time to reach your hotel might be more depending on if your hotel is not the first drop off point for the bus

What is the capacity of each bus? Is there space for luggage?

Each bus will be a 55-seater luxury motorcoach. Yes, there is ample space for luggage and/or equipment.

* Is there wheelchair assisted bus?

We are working with the bus company to identify which buses will have wheelchair loading capability. If you will be traveling and will need wheelchair lift or assistance, please send an email to transportation@bmm2022.org

Will the bus wait for us at the airport?

There is a maximum time of 30 minutes that buses are allowed to wait. This is imposed by the airport and hence not flexible. Therefore, it is important for you to head to the pickup point as soon as your flight lands.

Where are your pickup points?

We are working with the transportation company and the airport authorities to identify at least 2 pickup points at each airport. Please note that you might have to cross over from your terminal (from where the flight lands) to the pickup point. You will be informed well in advance by email once these pickup points are finalized.

Are there bathrooms on the bus? What other facilities are provided?

Yes. Each bus will have a bathroom. In addition, each luxury motorcoach/bus comes equipped with high-back reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, TV/DVD player, PA system and overhead storage space for small bags and purses.

Are masks mandatory on the bus?

The state of New Jersey currently has no mask mandates. You may choose to wear one if you wish. We will closely monitor and act as per the CDC and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Will there be any rest stops?

The buses will be on a tight schedule and will not be making any rest stops.

Where will the bus drop us off?

The bus will drop you off at your respective hotel.

I might not take the bus. Can you show me some other options for travel from the airport?

Local Transportation

How do I get to the Convention Centre?

Transportation is free to and from the hotels that BMM 2022 has contracted with.
Specially marked mini-buses called Jitneys will be available to get you to and from the hotels.

Do you have a bus schedule? How often will the buses run?

  1. If you are staying at a Convention hotel, you will find specially marked mini buses (called Jitneys) with seating capacity for 12-15 passengers – to help get you to and from the hotel to the convention center.
  2. Peak hours for travel are from 6:30 am – 9:30 am in the morning and 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm in the night. During peak hours, we will have dedicated buses from/to each hotel to the convention center every 10 minutes
  3. For non-peak hours (from 10 am – 6:00 pm) the buses will be available at a reduced frequency 1-2 buses every 30 minutes.
  4. There will no pickup/drop-off service from 11 pm to 6 am.

Can I take a bus of if I stay in a non-convention hotel?

For convention attendees who are booking at non-convention hotels your choices for travel to the event is as follows:

  • Travel to your nearest convention hotel and take the special Jitney from there to the convention center.
  • Take a general Jitney (an un-marked one) from your hotel to the convention center. Approximate cost per passenger per trip is $2.50 (as current pricing). The timing of these (unmarked Jitney) buses depends on the traffic and their own schedules

Can I take an Uber/Lyft to the Convention centre?

Based on our experience, the estimated cost of Uber/Lyft the estimated cost for a single Uber/Lyft is around $15. Surge pricing could drive this number higher.

Can I walk to the Convention Centre?

Of course, you can walk to and from the convention centre. Just make sure you wear a pair of comfortable shoes as some of the hotels are within a 20–30-minute walking distance to the Convention center.

Can I drive to the Convention Center?

Yes, the convention center offers paid parking though availability is limited

Which Hotels are part of BMM 2022?

BMM 2022 has entered into a contract with the following hotels:

1. Tropicana Casino and Resort

2. Harrah’s Resort

3. Caesars Atlantic City

These hotels represent some of the best facilities in Atlantic City and have worked closely with the organizers to offer a range of amenities at a reasonable price in peak summer.

Why do I see only Casino hotels in your list?

Atlantic City is primarily an entertainment district and relies on significant tourism due to Casinos, Boardwalk, Entertainment Shows and other activities. We have contracted with hotels that meet our capacity needs and provide best-in-class hoteling experience.

Can I book in hotels outside of your list?

Yes, you can. Atlantic City offers various option for enjoying all that the city has to offer. However, booking through our contracted hotels offer you highly negotiated rates and benefits that other hotels or hoteling websites might be hard pressed to match.

Can you summarize the benefits of staying with the convention hotel?

  1. Pre-negotiated and best in class rates for room, parking, resort fees and even Wi-Fi
  2. Guaranteed lower rate than any travel website can offer for the same hotel for the same dates and similar accommodations
  3. Travel to and from convention center is included. This means if you want, you can go back to the hotel for rest or quick change of clothes, you can take a bus back to your hotel.
  4. You do not have to get Uber or Lyft especially in peak summer when everyone comes to Atlantic City to have fun.

What are the negotiated hotel rates for the convention attendees?

Can I get the same hotel for Day 0? Do I have to change hotel from Day 0 to Day 1/2/3?

If you are attending Day 0 events like Uttar Rang or CME or Business Conference or simply traveling a day in advance from out of state, we have made provisions with the hotels to extend the pre-negotiated rates for additional days. When you make your reservation on the special hotel website, you will be able to book for any or all the days from August 10 to Aug 14.

I am traveling with other families. Can we get rooms side by side?

If multiple families are checking in together, getting a room close to your group might be easier.  Room assignment is done by hotel staff and NOT by the Convention hoteling volunteer team.

How do I get to the Convention Centre?

Transportation is free to and from the hotels that BMM 2022 has contracted with.
Specially marked mini-buses called Jitneys will be available to get you to and from the hotels.

Do you have a bus schedule? How often will the buses run?

  1. If you are staying at a Convention hotel, you will find specially marked mini buses (called Jitneys) with seating capacity for 12-15 passengers – to help get you to and from the hotel to the convention center.
  2. Peak hours for travel are from 6:30 am – 9:30 am in the morning and 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm in the night. During peak hours, we will have dedicated buses from/to each hotel to the convention center every 10 minutes
  3. For non-peak hours (from 10 am – 6:00 pm) the buses will be available at a reduced frequency 1-2 buses every 30 minutes.
  4. There will no pickup/drop-off service from 11 pm to 6 am.

Can I take a bus of if I stay in a non-convention hotel?

For convention attendees who are booking at non-convention hotels your choices for travel to the event is as follows:

  • Travel to your nearest convention hotel and take the special Jitney from there to the convention center.
  • Take a general Jitney (an un-marked one) from your hotel to the convention center. Approximate cost per passenger per trip is $2.50 (as current pricing). The timing of these (unmarked Jitney) buses depends on the traffic and their own schedules

Can I take an Uber/Lyft to the Convention centre?

  1. Based on our experience, the estimated cost of Uber/Lyft the estimated cost for a single Uber/Lyft is around $15. Surge pricing could drive this number higher.

Can I walk to the Convention Centre?

Of course, you can walk to and from the convention centre. Just make sure you wear a pair of comfortable shoes as some of the hotels are within a 20–30-minute walking distance to the Convention center.

Can I drive to the Convention Center?

Yes, the convention center offers paid parking though availability is limited.

BMM 2022 has entered into a contract with the following hotels:

These hotels represent some of the best facilities in Atlantic City and have worked closely with the organizers to offer a range of amenities at a reasonable price in peak summer.

Why do I see only Casino hotels in your list?

Atlantic City is primarily an entertainment district and relies on significant tourism due to Casinos, Boardwalk, Entertainment Shows and other activities. We have contracted with hotels that meet our capacity needs and provide best-in-class hoteling experience.

Can I book in hotels outside of your list?

Yes, you can. Atlantic City offers various option for enjoying all that the city has to offer. However, booking through our contracted hotels offer you highly negotiated rates and benefits that other hotels or hoteling websites might be hard pressed to match.

Can you summarize the benefits of staying with the convention hotel?

  1. Pre-negotiated and best in class rates for room, parking, resort fees and even Wi-Fi
  2. Guaranteed lower rate than any travel website can offer for the same hotel for the same dates and similar accommodations
  3. Travel to and from convention center is included. This means if you want, you can go back to the hotel for rest or quick change of clothes, you can take a bus back to your hotel.
  4. You do not have to get Uber or Lyft especially in peak summer when everyone comes to Atlantic City to have fun.

What are the negotiated hotel rates for the convention attendees

Below are the negotiated average nightly rates in USD (excluding taxes and fees) for double occupancy. Children under 17 stay free with adults.

Can I get the same hotel for Day 0? Do I have to change hotel from Day 0 to Day 1/2/3?

If you are attending Day 0 events like Uttar Rang or CME or Business Conference or simply traveling a day in advance from out of state, we have made provisions with the hotels to extend the pre-negotiated rates for additional days. When you make your reservation on the special hotel website, you will be able to book for any or all the days from August 10 to Aug 14.

I am traveling with other families. Can we get rooms side by side?

If multiple families are checking in together, getting a room close to your group might be easier.  Room assignment is done by hotel staff and NOT by the Convention hoteling volunteer team.

We have selected a reputable vendor to provide childcare for children of age 3-13. This gives you the option to drop the child off for age-appropriate activities with other children while you enjoy BMM programs. We ask they be kept to a minimum and away from other children.

12. What should the kids bring when they arrive?

Children should be in comfy casual clothes and closed toe shoes. Kids activities may be using markers, paints, and glue for crafts. There is a chance your child could get something on their clothes during the craft. In case kids need to change, childcare staff will contact parents. Parents are required to sign out the kids for changing.

13. Is childcare staff certified in CPR and first Aid?

Yes, all childcare staff is fully trained in maintaining health and safety guidelines and certified in CPR and first Aid.

14. What is the policy for administering prescription and non-prescription medications?

Day 0 conferences (Business, CME, Holistic Wellness Forum Uttar Rang) will be held on August 11, 2022. Regular Convention tickets are refundable as below

  • 80% of ticket amount will be refunded if the refund is requested within 60 days of purchase date or before June 11, 2022, whichever is earlier
  • 60% of ticket amount will be refunded if the refund is requested after 60 days of purchase date but before June 11, 2022
  • No refund will be provided for any cancellation after June 11, 2022

Registration fees for Business Conference, Business Summit and Education Summit are non-refundable. Registration may be transferred if notified in advance for the event and during the event timeframe only.

If the convention is cancelled due to COVID-related state regulations around indoor gatherings, all registration amounts will be refunded (after factoring any non-refundable expenses incurred by BMM).

14. How many members can be registered in a single registration?

Up to 6 Adults can be registered in a single registration. Additionally, you can register up to 6 children (ages 3 – 13). You may also send an email to the registration committee at registration@bmm2022.org for assistance.

15. What are the donation packages and benefits? Can I still donate for the convention?

Yes, we continue to accept donations and highly encourage you to do so. Please refer to bmm2022.org/donation/ for additional details.

16. What is the cancellation policy for donors?

Donations are not refundable or transferrable. However, if the convention is cancelled due to COVID-related state regulations around indoor gatherings, all donation amounts will be refunded (after factoring any non-refundable expenses incurred by BMM).  Email refunds@bmm2022.org for any additional information or exceptional requests.

17. What are my payment options for registration?

Payments can be made by credit/debit cards or bank ACH debit. Cash/check payments and electronic transfers are not accepted. Relevant processing charges will be added to your registration amount.

You will have an option to edit the information before you submit the registration. Once the registration is done you will have a limited option to modify your contact information and certain information about attendees.

18. What will happen once the registration is complete?

The primary registrant will receive confirmation email at the email address provided, consisting of registration details (including a unique confirmation code). If you do not receive confirmation email after registration, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder before contacting us. The confirmation email will also include a link to book your hotel. For any assistance related to registration, please contact registration@bmm2022.org.

You will receive a Group ID that can be shared with your friends to be seated together in the main arena.

19. When will I get a Seat number? What is the criterion for allocating seat numbers? What if I want to sit with my friends?

Your seat number will be printed on your badge. Seat numbers will be assigned on a “first come first served” basis depending on the date and time of your registration and payment.

The seat numbers are applicable only for the seating in the main arena. Please avail the Group ID for seating together. Ensure your friends register at the earliest after you ideally within a week. Delays could affect your seating to be fair to other attendees. Deadline to request group seating is June 30th, 2022.

20. How can I register for more people for the convention or register for additional events at a later date?

No- you cannot register additional attendees or events on your own at a later date. However, you can contact us at registration@bmm2022.org and we will be able to accommodate your request.

21. What is the guideline on Covid-19 vaccinations?

BMM2022 Attendees and Artists are required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

Wheel Chair

22. What are the guidelines around wheelchairs?

Please see below

  1. Wheelchair rental is provided by Mobility on Wheels https://cash.mobilityonwheels.com/ . You must book/rent the wheelchairs online by providing the required details, accepting waivers, etc.
  2. Wheelchairs are delivered only to your hotel and not at the convention center. Sheraton is not included in their list of hotels. These restrictions are mainly due to the union, labor, and liability laws of the city. These wheelchairs don’t fold for theft prevention.
  3. If convenience is the only criteria; The venue “Atlantic City Convention Center” is a vertical facility, unlike other conventions you might have been to, that are horizontally spread.
  4. This venue has 4 levels. Escalators and elevators are available at convenient locations across the facility for easier movement. Please feel free to browse the floor plans https://photos.meetinac.com/photos/floor-plans Level 2 will feature a main auditorium, expo area, dining hall, and small theater. Levels 3 and 4 will have breakout rooms with drama, music theaters, and other parallel track programs.
  5. Shuttle drop-off and pickup are conveniently located on Level 1 outside the Atrium.
  6. It is highly recommended by the venue to rent a “non-motorized” wheelchair.

23. Is there a possibility to get a wheelchair escort?

No, the Convention center or convention organizing team DO NOT provide wheelchair escort, you will have to arrange a resource or individual.

How many members can be registered in a single registration?

Up to 6 Adults can be registered in a single registration. Additionally, you can register up to 6 children (ages 3 – 13). You may also send an email to the registration committee at registration@bmm2022.org for assistance.

What are the donation packages and benefits? Can I still donate for the convention?

Yes, we continue to accept donations and highly encourage you to do so. Please refer to bmm2022.org/donation/ for additional details.

What are my payment options for registration?

Payments can be made by credit/debit cards or bank ACH debit. Cash/check payments and electronic transfers are not accepted. Relevant processing charges will be added to your registration amount.

You will have an option to edit the information before you submit the registration. Once the registration is done you will have a limited option to modify your contact information and certain information about attendees.

What will happen once the registration is complete?

The primary registrant will receive confirmation email at the email address provided, consisting of registration details (including a unique confirmation code). If you do not receive confirmation email after registration, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder before contacting us. The confirmation email will also include a link to book your hotel. For any assistance related to registration, please contact registration@bmm2022.org.

You will receive a Group ID that can be shared with your friends to be seated together in the main arena.

When will I get a Seat number? What is the criterion for allocating seat numbers? What if I want to sit with my friends?

Your seat number will be printed on your badge. Seat numbers will be assigned on a “first come first served” basis depending on the date and time of your registration and payment.

The seat numbers are applicable only for the seating in the main arena. Please avail the Group ID for seating together. Ensure your friends register at the earliest after you ideally within a week. Delays could affect your seating to be fair to other attendees. Deadline to request group seating is June 30th, 2022.

How can I register for more people for the convention or register for additional events at a later date?

No- you cannot register additional attendees or events on your own at a later date. However, you can contact us at registration@bmm2022.org and we will be able to accommodate your request.

What is the guideline on Covid-19 vaccinations?​

BMM2022 Attendees and Artists are required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

What are the guidelines around wheelchairs?

Please see below

  1. Wheelchair rental is provided by Mobility on Wheels https://cash.mobilityonwheels.com/ . You must book/rent the wheelchairs online by providing the required details, accepting waivers, etc.
  2. Wheelchairs are delivered only to your hotel and not at the convention center. Sheraton is not included in their list of hotels. These restrictions are mainly due to the union, labor, and liability laws of the city. These wheelchairs don’t fold for theft prevention.
  3. If convenience is the only criteria; The venue “Atlantic City Convention Center” is a vertical facility, unlike other conventions you might have been to, that are horizontally spread.
  4. This venue has 4 levels. Escalators and elevators are available at convenient locations across the facility for easier movement. Please feel free to browse the floor plans https://photos.meetinac.com/photos/floor-plans Level 2 will feature a main auditorium, expo area, dining hall, and small theater. Levels 3 and 4 will have breakout rooms with drama, music theaters, and other parallel track programs.
  5. Shuttle drop-off and pickup are conveniently located on Level 1 outside the Atrium.
  6. It is highly recommended by the venue to rent a “non-motorized” wheelchair.

Is there a possibility to get a wheelchair escort?

No, the Convention center or convention organizing team DO NOT provide wheelchair escort, you will have to arrange a resource or individual.

There is a maximum time of 30 minutes that buses are allowed to wait. This is imposed by the airport and hence not flexible. Therefore, it is important for you to head to the pickup point as soon as your flight lands.

We are working with the transportation company and the airport authorities to identify at least 2 pickup points at each airport. Please note that you might have to cross over from your terminal (from where the flight lands) to the pickup point. You will be informed well in advance by email once these pickup points are finalized.

Are there bathrooms on the bus? What other facilities are provided?

Yes. Each bus will have a bathroom. In addition, each luxury motorcoach/bus comes equipped with high-back reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, TV/DVD player, PA system and overhead storage space for small bags and purses.

Are masks mandatory on the bus?

The state of New Jersey currently has no mask mandates. You may choose to wear one if you wish. We will closely monitor and act as per the CDC and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Will there be any rest stops?

The buses will be on a tight schedule and will not be making any rest stops.

Where will the bus drop us off?

1. Why should I use childcare service when I want my kids to watch the main programs?

We have selected a reputable vendor to provide childcare for children of age 3-13. This gives you the option to drop the child off for age-appropriate activities with other children while you enjoy BMM programs. In addition, you also have the option to take the child with you to watch any of the programs outside the childcare service area.

2. What is the child-to-staff ratio?

3. What are the requirements to be able to use childcare services?

  • All kids requiring childcare must be potty-trained.
  • You should have the child’s registration confirmation.
  • Sign the Consent Form with the childcare service provider. This form accommodates all circumstances from emergency consent, special needs, photography, and waivers.
  • For registration / drop off, childcare service provider requires a short registration form be filled out and a security photo is taken for each family to ensure safety of your child / children
  • Parents MUST be present at BMM convention while using childcare service and should not leave premises for other activities, such as casinos, shopping, and other sightseeing.

4. I bought my kids registration ticket. Do I have to pay extra for childcare? What are the timings?

Yes, you will need to purchase child ticket that includes childcare priced $50 higher than a regular child ticket. All kids ages 3-13 can be enrolled in childcare services. 8. How would you handle breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack? How would you handle kids with allergies?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be the parent/guardian’s responsibility. You will bring the kids to the childcare area after breakfast and sign in/sign out your kids for lunch and dinner.

BMM will provide allergen free kids snacks during childcare.

9. Will someone accompany younger children to the restroom?

Each child will be given a wristband with their name, age and allergies to be worn while in childcare. Parents will be given a ticket with the matching number on the wrist band to be used at pick up. We ask that the ticket be provided for pick up and if not available the child will only be released to a parent or guardian in the security photo taken at registration.

11. Are hand-held video games or smart phones allowed in childcare area?

We as BMM and childcare service provider don’t take the responsibility of any personal belongings. We have arranged fun-filled activities for the children and encourage them to participate Yet, recognizing the attachment of kids to their electronics, will allow use of these items in the quiet time. We ask they be kept to a minimum and away from other children.

12. What should the kids bring when they arrive?

Children should be in comfy casual clothes and closed toe shoes. Kids activities may be using markers, paints, and glue for crafts. There is a chance your child could get something on their clothes during the craft. In case kids need to change, childcare staff will contact parents. Parents are required to sign out the kids for changing.

13. Is childcare staff certified in CPR and first Aid?

Yes, all childcare staff is fully trained in maintaining health and safety guidelines and certified in CPR and first Aid.

14. What is the policy for administering prescription and non-prescription medications?

Parents are responsible for administering prescription or non-prescription medications to their child.

15. Covid-19 health and Safety precautions?

  • Health screening upon arrival for staff and children – Temperature checks
  • All childcare staff will always wear masks.
  • Childcare spaces will be disinfected in advance. Disinfectant wipes will be accessible for surface wipe downs during event.
  • Hand sanitizers will be located at check-in and in each childcare room.
  • Trash cans, paper towels, and tissues will be readily available for children’s use.

Is it OK, if I am late to pick my child after the last program of the day?

Childcare will be close sharp at 10:30 pm on August 12th and 13th and at 12 noon on August 14th. Children must be picked up before these times to avoid additional charges. Parents are responsible for late pick up charges.

Can I check in and check out my child from childcare any time?

Yes, you can check in and check out your child at any time of the day during childcare hours.

What activities are planned for kids? Can I see their schedule in advance?

How would you handle breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack? How would you handle kids with allergies?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be the parent/guardian’s responsibility. You will bring the kids to the childcare area after breakfast and sign in/sign out your kids for lunch and dinner.

 

BMM will provide allergen free kids snacks during childcare.

Will someone accompany younger children to the restroom?

Consent Form with the childcare service provider MUST be filled out for permission to take your child from the childcare room with supervision to use the bathroom. At no time your child will be left alone.

Can someone other than me pick up the child?

Each child will be given a wristband with their name, age and allergies to be worn while in childcare. Parents will be given a ticket with the matching number on the wrist band to be used at pick up. We ask that the ticket be provided for pick up and if not available the child will only be released to a parent or guardian in the security photo taken at registration.

Are hand-held video games or smart phones allowed in childcare area?

We as BMM and childcare service provider don’t take the responsibility of any personal belongings. We have arranged fun-filled activities for the children and encourage them to participate Yet, recognizing the attachment of kids to their electronics, will allow use of these items in the quiet time. We ask they be kept to a minimum and away from other children.

What should the kids bring when they arrive?

Children should be in comfy casual clothes and closed toe shoes. Kids activities may be using markers, paints, and glue for crafts. There is a chance your child could get something on their clothes during the craft. In case kids need to change, childcare staff will contact parents. Parents are required to sign out the kids for changing.

Is childcare staff certified in CPR and first Aid?

Yes, all childcare staff is fully trained in maintaining health and safety guidelines and certified in CPR and first Aid.

What is the policy for administering prescription and non-prescription medications?

Parents are responsible for administering prescription or non-prescription medications to their child.

Covid-19 health and Safety precautions?

  • Health screening upon arrival for staff and children – Temperature checks
  • All childcare staff will always wear masks.
  • Childcare spaces will be disinfected in advance. Disinfectant wipes will be accessible for surface wipe downs during event.
  • Hand sanitizers will be located at check-in and in each childcare room.
  • Trash cans, paper towels, and tissues will be readily available for children’s use.
  • Childcare staff will maintain and follow all CDC guidelines related to childcare.
  • BMM2022 Attendees and Artists are required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

Right from the day when convention planning started to the actual day of the convention our guiding principle towards Covid related matters is to follow the state-mandated CDC guidelines. We are continuing to adhere to these guidelines and will do so till the end of the convention. That’s our responsibility and we are committed to implementing it.

4. Will there be testing available at the facility, and do I need to test before I come to the convention?

We will not be providing any tests. It’s totally your prerogative and initiative if you wish to bring any tests with you. Likewise, it’s your decision to test before coming to the convention. We believe our well educated audience will follow the honor system and avoid attending the convention if they unfortunately test positive before coming to the convention.

2. Which Airports are convenient to get to the convention center? What options are available for transportation from Airport to the Convention Center?

Preferred airports are Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Additionally smaller airports like Trenton (TTN) and Atlantic City (ACY) provide connectivity to select cities.

3. What events can I register using the main BMM 2022 registration form?

You can register for the BMM Main Convention, Banquet Dinner, Business Conference, CME Conference, Uttar Rang and Holistic Wellness Forum. Select the appropriate child ticket that includes childcare services at a nominal extra charge.

4. What is included in the Day 0 add-on?

5. I am a participant in the programming event at the convention or a volunteer, do I need to register? Are daily passes available for programming participants?

BMM Registration is mandatory for all volunteers and North American programming participants. Daily passes are not available for programming participants or volunteers.

6. Is Childcare available during the convention and at what cost?

Yes, we will offer Childcare services for children ages 3-13 (age as of July 31, 2022). All children must be registered for the BMM convention. Appropriate child ticket that includes childcare must be purchased to avail services. On the spot childcare service will not be available. 

You must complete a form required by our childcare vendor which will be shared with you separately.

Please Note:  Youth and children must be pre-registered for workshops planned for relevant age groups.

  • 60% of ticket amount will be refunded if the refund is requested after 60 days of purchase date but before June 11, 2022
  • No refund will be provided for any cancellation after June 11, 2022

Registration fees for Business Conference, Business Summit and Education Summit are non-refundable. Registration may be transferred if notified in advance for the event and during the event timeframe only.

If the convention is cancelled due to COVID-related state regulations around indoor gatherings, all registration amounts will be refunded (after factoring any non-refundable expenses incurred by BMM).

14. How many members can be registered in a single registration?

Up to 6 Adults can be registered in a single registration. Additionally, you can register up to 6 children (ages 3 – 13). You may also send an email to the registration committee at registration@bmm2022.org for assistance.

15. What are the donation packages and benefits? Can I still donate for the convention?

Yes, we continue to accept donations and highly encourage you to do so. Please refer to bmm2022.org/donation/ for additional details.

16. What is the cancellation policy for donors?

Donations are not refundable or transferrable. 17. What are my payment options for registration?

18. What will happen once the registration is complete?

The primary registrant will receive confirmation email at the email address provided, consisting of registration details (including a unique confirmation code). If you do not receive confirmation email after registration, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder before contacting us. The confirmation email will also include a link to book your hotel. For any assistance related to registration, please contact registration@bmm2022.org.

You will receive a Group ID that can be shared with your friends to be seated together in the main arena.

19. When will I get a Seat number? What is the criterion for allocating seat numbers? What if I want to sit with my friends?

Your seat number will be printed on your badge. Seat numbers will be assigned on a “first come first served” basis depending on the date and time of your registration and payment.

The seat numbers are applicable only for the seating in the main arena. Please avail the Group ID for seating together. Ensure your friends register at the earliest after you ideally within a week. Delays could affect your seating to be fair to other attendees. Deadline to request group seating is June 30th, 2022.

20. How can I register for more people for the convention or register for additional events at a later date?

No- you cannot register additional attendees or events on your own at a later date. However, you can contact us at registration@bmm2022.org and we will be able to accommodate your request.

22. What are the guidelines around wheelchairs?

  1. Wheelchair rental is provided by Mobility on Wheels https://cash.mobilityonwheels.com/ . You must book/rent the wheelchairs online by providing the required details, accepting waivers, etc.
  2. Wheelchairs are delivered only to your hotel and not at the convention center. Sheraton is not included in their list of hotels. These restrictions are mainly due to the union, labor, and liability laws of the city. These wheelchairs don’t fold for theft prevention.
  3. If convenience is the only criteria; The venue “Atlantic City Convention Center” is a vertical facility, unlike other conventions you might have been to, that are horizontally spread.
  4. This venue has 4 levels. Escalators and elevators are available at convenient locations across the facility for easier movement. Please feel free to browse the floor plans https://photos.meetinac.com/photos/floor-plans Level 2 will feature a main auditorium, expo area, dining hall, and small theater. Levels 3 and 4 will have breakout rooms with drama, music theaters, and other parallel track programs.
  5. Shuttle drop-off and pickup are conveniently located on Level 1 outside the Atrium.
  6. It is highly recommended by the venue to rent a “non-motorized” wheelchair.

Who is providing the Airport Transportation?

The bus service is provided by US Coachways on behalf of BMM2022.

What are the charges?

The per person per way charge is $55. You can choose either One-Way or Roundtrip when selecting the ticket. Tickets are available online https://bmm2022.org/airport-transportation/

What airports are covered as part of this service?

Transportation will be provided from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) only.

What dates will the service be provided on?

On Wednesday August 10 and Thursday Aug 11, we will have bus service from the airport (Philadelphia and Newark) to Atlantic City.

On Sunday August 14 and Monday August 15, we will have bus service from the convention center/hotel to the airports (Philadelphia and Newark).

How long is the bus ride?

The ride to and from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 2 hours and 10 minutes. 

The ride to and from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Actual time to reach your hotel might be more depending on if your hotel is not the first drop off point for the bus

What is the capacity of each bus? Is there space for luggage?

Each bus will be a 55-seater luxury motorcoach. Yes, there is ample space for luggage and/or equipment.

* Is there wheelchair assisted bus?

We are working with the bus company to identify which buses will have wheelchair loading capability. If you will be traveling and will need wheelchair lift or assistance, please send an email to transportation@bmm2022.org

Will the bus wait for us at the airport?

There is a maximum time of 30 minutes that buses are allowed to wait. This is imposed by the airport and hence not flexible. Therefore, it is important for you to head to the pickup point as soon as your flight lands.

Where are your pickup points?

We are working with the transportation company and the airport authorities to identify at least 2 pickup points at each airport. Please note that you might have to cross over from your terminal (from where the flight lands) to the pickup point. You will be informed well in advance by email once these pickup points are finalized.

Are there bathrooms on the bus? What other facilities are provided?

Yes. Each bus will have a bathroom. In addition, each luxury motorcoach/bus comes equipped with high-back reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, TV/DVD player, PA system and overhead storage space for small bags and purses.

Are masks mandatory on the bus?

The state of New Jersey currently has no mask mandates. You may choose to wear one if you wish. We will closely monitor and act as per the CDC and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Will there be any rest stops?

The buses will be on a tight schedule and will not be making any rest stops.

Where will the bus drop us off?

The bus will drop you off at your respective hotel.

Local Transportation

How do I get to the Convention Centre?

Transportation is free to and from the hotels that BMM 2022 has contracted with.
Specially marked mini-buses called Jitneys will be available to get you to and from the hotels.

Do you have a bus schedule? How often will the buses run?

  1. If you are staying at a Convention hotel, you will find specially marked mini buses (called Jitneys) with seating capacity for 12-15 passengers – to help get you to and from the hotel to the convention center.
  2. Peak hours for travel are from 6:30 am – 9:30 am in the morning and 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm in the night. During peak hours, we will have dedicated buses from/to each hotel to the convention center every 10 minutes
  3. For non-peak hours (from 10 am – 6:00 pm) the buses will be available at a reduced frequency 1-2 buses every 30 minutes.
  4. There will no pickup/drop-off service from 11 pm to 6 am.

Can I take a bus of if I stay in a non-convention hotel?

For convention attendees who are booking at non-convention hotels your choices for travel to the event is as follows:

  • Travel to your nearest convention hotel and take the special Jitney from there to the convention center.
  • Take a general Jitney (an un-marked one) from your hotel to the convention center. Approximate cost per passenger per trip is $2.50 (as current pricing). The timing of these (unmarked Jitney) buses depends on the traffic and their own schedules

Can I take an Uber/Lyft to the Convention centre?

Based on our experience, the estimated cost of Uber/Lyft the estimated cost for a single Uber/Lyft is around $15. Surge pricing could drive this number higher.

Can I walk to the Convention Centre?

If you are attending Day 0 events like Uttar Rang or CME or Business Conference or simply traveling a day in advance from out of state, we have made provisions with the hotels to extend the pre-negotiated rates for additional days. When you make your reservation on the special hotel website, you will be able to book for any or all the days from August 10 to Aug 14.

I am traveling with other families. Can we get rooms side by side?

Who is providing the Airport Transportation?

The bus service is provided by US Coachways on behalf of BMM2022.

What are the charges?

The per person per way charge is $55. You can choose either One-Way or Roundtrip when selecting the ticket. Tickets are available online https://bmm2022.org/airport-transportation

What airports are covered as part of this service?

Transportation will be provided from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) only.

What dates will the service be provided on?

  1. On Wednesday August 10 and Thursday Aug 11, we will have bus service from the airport (Philadelphia and Newark) to Atlantic City

  2.  

    On Sunday August 14 and Monday August 15, we will have bus service from the convention center/hotel to the airports (Philadelphia and Newark).

What is the bus schedule?

How long is the bus ride?

The ride to and from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 2 hours and 10 minutes.

The ride to and from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Actual time to reach your hotel might be more depending on if your hotel is not the first drop off point for the bus

What is the capacity of each bus? Is there space for luggage?

Each bus will be a 55-seater luxury motorcoach. 

Yes, there is ample space for luggage and/or equipment.

* Is there wheelchair assisted bus?

We are working with the bus company to identify which buses will have wheelchair loading capability. If you will be traveling and will need wheelchair lift or assistance, please send an email to transportation@bmm2022.org

Will the bus wait for us at the airport?

There is a maximum time of 30 minutes that buses are allowed to wait. This is imposed by the airport and hence not flexible. Therefore, it is important for you to head to the pickup point as soon as your flight lands.

Where are your pickup points?

We are working with the transportation company and the airport authorities to identify at least 2 pickup points at each airport. Please note that you might have to cross over from your terminal (from where the flight lands) to the pickup point. You will be informed well in advance by email once these pickup points are finalized.

Are there bathrooms on the bus? What other facilities are provided?

Yes. Each bus will have a bathroom. In addition, each luxury motorcoach/bus comes equipped with high-back reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, TV/DVD player, PA system and overhead storage space for small bags and purses

Are masks mandatory on the bus?

The state of New Jersey currently has no mask mandates. You may choose to wear one if you wish. We will closely monitor and act as per the CDC and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Will there be any rest stops?

The buses will be on a tight schedule and will not be making any rest stops.

Where will the bus drop us off?

The bus will drop you off at your respective hotel.

How do I get to the Convention Centre?

Transportation is free to and from the hotels that BMM 2022 has contracted with.
Specially marked mini-buses called Jitneys will be available to get you to and from the hotels.

Do you have a bus schedule? How often will the buses run?

  1. If you are staying at a Convention hotel, you will find specially marked mini buses (called Jitneys) with seating capacity for 12-15 passengers – to help get you to and from the hotel to the convention center.
  2. Peak hours for travel are from 6:30 am – 9:30 am in the morning and 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm in the night. During peak hours, we will have dedicated buses from/to each hotel to the convention center every 10 minutes
  3. For non-peak hours (from 10 am – 6:00 pm) the buses will be available at a reduced frequency 1-2 buses every 30 minutes.
  4. There will no pickup/drop-off service from 11 pm to 6 am.

Can I take a bus of if I stay in a non-convention hotel?

For convention attendees who are booking at non-convention hotels your choices for travel to the event is as follows:

  • Travel to your nearest convention hotel and take the special Jitney from there to the convention center.
  • Take a general Jitney (an un-marked one) from your hotel to the convention center. Approximate cost per passenger per trip is $2.50 (as current pricing). The timing of these (unmarked Jitney) buses depends on the traffic and their own schedules

Can I take an Uber/Lyft to the Convention centre?

  1. Based on our experience, the estimated cost of Uber/Lyft the estimated cost for a single Uber/Lyft is around $15. Surge pricing could drive this number higher.

We have selected a reputable vendor to provide childcare for children of age 3-13. This gives you the option to drop the child off for age-appropriate activities with other children while you enjoy BMM programs. In addition, you also have the option to take the child with you to watch any of the programs outside the childcare service area.

3. What are the requirements to be able to use childcare services?

  • All kids requiring childcare must be potty-trained.
  • You should have the child’s registration confirmation.

  • For registration / drop off, childcare service provider requires a short registration form be filled out and a security photo is taken for each family to ensure safety of your child / children

11. Are hand-held video games or smart phones allowed in childcare area?

We as BMM and childcare service provider don’t take the responsibility of any personal belongings. We have arranged fun-filled activities for the children and encourage them to participate Yet, recognizing the attachment of kids to their electronics, will allow use of these items in the quiet time. We ask they be kept to a minimum and away from other children.

12. What should the kids bring when they arrive?

Children should be in comfy casual clothes and closed toe shoes. Kids activities may be using markers, paints, and glue for crafts. There is a chance your child could get something on their clothes during the craft. In case kids need to change, childcare staff will contact parents. Parents are required to sign out the kids for changing.

13. Is childcare staff certified in CPR and first Aid?

Yes, all childcare staff is fully trained in maintaining health and safety guidelines and certified in CPR and first Aid.

14. What is the policy for administering prescription and non-prescription medications?

Parents are responsible for administering prescription or non-prescription medications to their child.

  • Health screening upon arrival for staff and children – Temperature checks

We will not be providing any tests. It’s totally your prerogative and initiative if you wish to bring any tests with you. Likewise, it’s your decision to test before coming to the convention.
